If you're like anyone else in the world, you know that 2012 is only 2 and a half years away.  Well, it's ALMOST 2 and a half years away.  Regardless, it's coming up and it's coming up fast.  But what exactly IS 2012, and why are we talking about being 2012 Ready?  Well, unless you want to be eaten by a zombie you'd best read on and find out!

Let's start with the basics.  The current year is 2009.  Many years ago there was a great civilization known as the Mayans.  These highly advanced people developed a great and magical calendar.  It is widely regarded as the most perfect calendar created, EVER.  That being said, there's only one problem with their calendar.  It stops at the year 2012.  For centuries scientists have been trying to find out why.  It's the biggest mystery the world has ever known...until now.  You see, the Mayans knew it would be the end of the world but they didn't know how to properly describe what would cause it.  Thankfully our team of J-FP Scientists have gotten to the bottom of this great mystery.  We'll go into how we uncovered the truth later, for now we're just introducing you to the fact (yes, a FACT) that 2012 will be the end of the world and it's demise will be brought on by zombies. 

Yes, Zombies.

Don't worry though.  Zombies can't destroy the earth, they can only destroy human flesh.  Luckily, your friends here at The J-FP have you covered.  We've created a series of articles and compiled a guide so that YOU can become 2012 Ready.  With the proper amount of planning, we can survive the zombie apocalypse with minimal casualties.  Keep your eyes peeled for our logo, which we'll be using to stamp things that are either Officially 2012 Ready or are items you can use to become 2012 Ready.  That logo looks like this:

They even made a movie about it called Night Of The Living Dreadlocks, or Night Of The Living Dregs or something like that. I can't really remember because I was bitten by a zombie and infected. Rather than fight it, I just married the gal...... I do need the tips on how to handle it in 2012 though because I am not getting married again.

Warlocke  - Reccomended ammo for zombie defense?   |2009-05-12 05:18:05 Do I need to stock up on the big expensive stuff (45, 40SW, 12GA Sabot slugs or 00 buckshot) or can I just make do with well placed rounds of less expensive ammo (22LR, 12GA #8 or #6 shot)? I can fire 3 decent .22LR rounds for the price of one .45 round... So logically that's like firing a .66 caliber round that fragmented into 3 separate points for the price of a .45 round, right? Please help with this very pressing question because I really need to know what to keep in my 2012 preparedness bunker/compound for when TSHTF... Thanks, JF Project! You provide a crucial service to those of us who take the coming zombie apocalypse as seriously as it deserves...

Shadow  - Its simple   |2009-06-10 17:52:52 you dont need to buy expensive ammo for zombies, Why? because the logic behind a zombie is that they already have diseased and damaged skin, making it easy to blow holes right through them, a well placed shot with most any gun besides pellet or BB guns, and that should do the trick.
