TAKEN: THROAT PUNCH THE MOVIE
Once in a great while a movie comes out that is so epic so frickin awesome that we here at The JF Project have to laud it, nay give praise to its ass kicking awesomeness!
So I went this weekend and saw the power house that is Taken. I went into the movie expecting good things and my, was I not disappointed. This movie is amazing. Not that I haven’t enjoyed Liam Neeson in his past roles, And I am sure that everyone who knows me understands my love of the Star Wars franchise, so of course I was a fan of his performance of Qui-Gon Jinn

and his voice work in the The Chronicles of Narnia

but I never really took him for an action star. But after seeing this movie my thoughts on the matter have changed. Ok so now I am going to talk a little about the movie so be warned SPOILER ALERT!!!

In this movie he plays Bryan Mills an ex-government “preventer” what he did was prevent bad things from happening. What kind of bad things well we are not sure. I personally like to believe that he prevented foreign powers from taking our delicious pies and cakes. So we are going to run with that. So after a long and rewarding carrier of protecting American pastry’s he retires and moves to California to be closer to his daughter who is Shannon from lost

and ex-wife Jean Grey…

well his daughter decides to follow U2s European tour.

Why? Well the only reason that I can come up with is… well I really don’t see why anyone would want to do that. So she lies to her dad and tells him that she is only going to be in Paris and that it. So while there she gets kidnapped. Big mistake, if you thought that he got mad when people tried to take American tasty treats just think how pissed he got when his daughter got taken. Now the rest of the movie is super fantastic and can be described as, punch, kick, kick, punch, throat punch, bullet to the head, bullet to the back, knitting needle in the legs, car chase, kill him quietly, kill bad guys loudly, jump on boat, kill some more, kill with broken bottle, negotiate like Bruce Willis in The Fifth Element save daughter. Oh yeah it was that cool. So in closing if you don’t go and see this movie well then you don’t like tasty pie!
